Montpelier’s chefs offer classical cuisine with local and contemporary inspiration. The Inn is renowned for its imaginative use of local produce and the Plantation farm yields an array of desirable fruits and organically grown vegetables and herbs for the kitchen. At Montpelier, you can savor the classical cuisine, fresh seafood and local delicacies, all while dining by candlelight overlooking the lights of Charlestown and St. Kitts.
Included in your package, guests of Montpelier will enjoy a fully cooked breakfast daily, served on the Terrace and afternoon tea served at the pool bar throughout your entire stay.
For lunch, guests have several options to choose from:
- A light meal is served at the pool bar
- A picnic lunch can be arranged consisting of salads, bagels, sandwiches, fresh fruit and homemade cookies, for those who want to enjoy the day at Montpelier’s private beach
- Martha’s at the Garden Restaurant, located at the Botanical Garden of Nevis, which is located and operated by the Montpelier Estate
For dinner, start the evening with drinks, cocktails and canapés served in the Great Room, allowing guests the opportunity to mingle with fellow diners or simply get to know each other a little more. From there, guests can choose to dine in the following restaurants:
Dinner is a three-course choice menu ‘prix fixe’ that is inspired by both continental and Caribbean trends, with commanding views of the floodlit gardens, the ocean and the distant lights of St. Kitts.
Experience intimate dining in this 18th century sugar mill, where no more than 12 persons will be pampered with a candlelight setting. This one-of-a-kind venue can be arranged for a ‘prix fixe’ four-course dinner or, a six-course tasting menu, with the perfect selection of wines ‘paired’ to accompany each gourmet course.
And let’s not forget about the vast selection of wines available to compliment your every desire – over 50 wines to choose from and in the celebrated words of Michael Broadbent; “Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life’s most civilized pleasures”.

- Dress Code defined: Smart casual is recommended. Jacket and tie are not required and not often worn. Gentleman can wear long trousers and a collared shirt in the evenings. For the ladies, a cardigan or shawl is advisable for the evenings during the winter months.
