Nearly half of Palm Island’s 42 eclectic mix of rooms, suites, lofts and villa accommodations are set on the beach; the rest are just a few steps away.  All are appointed with custom bamboo furnishings, woven rattan ceilings and rich, subtle fabrics.  Rooms are delightfully free from televisions and telephones, so you can revel in the natural sounds of this rare tropical setting, providing a complete break from the schedules and commitments of everyday life.

Palm View Rooms
These comfortable and well-appointed rooms are tucked into four buildings amid the gardens.  Each spacious 450-square foot room features charming rustic touches, including peaked roofs with exposed beams, woven rattan ceilings and island-style ceiling fans.  All offer a sitting area and a private furnished terrace with views of the swimming pool or the beach.  Palm View Rooms also feature a king-size bed (some with romantic canopies) along with a spacious bathroom equipped with a deep-soaking tub and a separate shower.  To accommodate additional guests, these units are equipped with pull-out beds.  (Maximum occupancy: 3 persons)

Beachfront Cottage
Offering the utmost in serenity and Caribbean charm, these cottages are welcoming, comfortable escapes for couples.  The rooms are housed in buildings set side by side along the beach and all boast furnished private terraces with views of the Caribbean Sea and nearby Union Island.  Interesting architectural touches, like the exposed beams of the peaked roofs, woven rattan ceilings and rustic ceiling fans, create a rich island feeling.  Each cottage provides approximately 450-square feet of living space and a comfy king-size bed awaits, along with a small sitting area and a bathroom with shower.  (Maximum occupancy: 2 persons)

Plantation Suites
Ideal for families, these relatively brand new suites are housed in two-story buildings tucked into the gardens.  With a spacious 560-square feet of living space, each also offers elegant appointments, including; two queen-size sleigh beds, beautiful rattan furnishings, a separate sitting area, as well as a bathroom with a double shower, and a covered, furnished terrace or balcony with beautiful views of the ocean or the gardens.  (Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children)

Island Loft
With over 500-square feet of living space, these air-conditioned lofts provide an abundance of charm and privacy.  All feature peaked roofs and breezy louvered windows and the tropical feeling is accentuated by rattan furniture and bold, colorful fabrics.  A few of the lofts perch above the ground on stilts, set back from the beach amid lush gardens, and are furnished with queen-size beds, sitting areas, deep-soaking tubs, separate showers, private terraces and ocean views.  Another set of lofts sit right on the beach.  These feature king-size beds, deep-soaking tubs, separate showers, private terraces and views that look out across the water toward the Tobago Keys.  (Maximum occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children)

Villas
Palm Island’s two charming Villas – the Southern Cross Villa and the Seafeather Villa - provide the quintessential fantasy island hideaway.  Each two-bedroom villa offers several timber decks with stellar water views and accommodates up to four adults.  Each bedroom features in-suite marble bathrooms with spacious step-in showers and ocean views.  A tiled dining terrace, an arbor patio and a private, infinity-edge swimming pool make this an idyllic home away from home.  To top it off, Palm Island will stock your villa with must-have items such as; beer, spirits, two bottles of Champagne, soft drinks – as well as cereal, coffee, tea, fruits and snacks.  And as a villa guest, you can ride around the island in your own golf cart.

With the exception of the Villas, all accommodations are free of television and telephones.  TV viewing is available in a designated public area only.  Telephone and fax are also available, just not in the guestrooms.
